You're in the market for a chainsaw but you have no idea what to buy. This is a difficult situation for users chainsaw prospective and would you believe, inexperienced loggers are virtually put their safety and, in some cases their lives in danger by not not doing their homework in choosing the right chainsaw.
Too often, users are not professional chainsaw throwing money against the wall taking hasty decisions and uninformed about the type of saw that they buy. I'll recall a few facts for users inexperienced chainsaw seriously considering buying their first chainsaw.
Did You Know?
A chainsaw is the most dangerous tool, you can purchase. An impressive number of injuries and deaths are attributed to chainsaw use each year in the United States only. The figure is alarming … between 30-40,000, and most could be avoided simply by observing the appropriate safety measures.
What size machine should I buy?
The technology has allowed manufacturers to produce machines lighter but more powerful and the quality of the saw chain continues to amaze even the most skilled woodsman. When shopping for a chainsaw, do you select that you are comfortable in handling. If it feels too heavy, lay down and test another, lighter model. If you are looking only for a machine to perform occasional work with and talk to your dealer and get suggestions on this chainsaw is best suited for minor uses. You do not go overboard and buy an expensive model capable to kill the largest wooden world if all you intend to use it to help clear some brush in the nuisance backyard.
The same thing applies to those who need a chainsaw for heavier jobs. You do not want to buy a small thinking machine, it will save you money. If you have the greatest job in the run then get the appropriate model. Why? Encore once security is the big question here. You think you may save you hundreds of dollars by buying a cheaper, less efficient model, but how do you value your safety. A machine that is working beyond its limits and capabilities will not only struggle to finish the job but they are the user making unnecessary fatigue. Yes, chainsaws are great and handy for cutting through difficult tasks, but a user who tires using a saw that works is beyond the intended use is suddenly his safety and life-threatening. Fatigue is one of the main causes of many accidents involving chainsaws around the world today.
Consider the aspect security when buying your chainsaw. Manufacturers such as Stihl and Husqvarna place importance on security and related Chainsaw right to suitable employment. They are a good starting point when seeking information. Your local dealer should be able to provide sufficient facts and figures so you can make an informed decision about which machine will suit your needs. If not, go to another broker.

What size blade chainsaw do I need?
I want to buy a chainsaw to cut some trees in my garden for firewood. The trees are already down they just need to be cut. Any recommendations on a good (cheap) chainsaw done a good job cutting and better blade size is necessary?
It depends on the size of trees cut. You do not want to buy a saw that is too small and low power. However, you do not need a model professional, or forestry. A blade of 24 inches is your basic medium of Road size of the blade, 18 inch blades are good for projects of general maintenance around large areas, but fall a bit short when it comes cutting firewood. As for the factory, and Poulan Husqavrna (CQ?) Are in good quality manufactured products, although I personally choose a husky Poulan any day of the week. Husky saws are real durable with good power.
